Following the invisible Qi
2021
How do you deal with growing old? Or more specifically, how do you experience life at your full potential?
By experiencing and understanding Traditional Chinese Medicine, a philosophy which aim to preserve instead of quickly consume the Jing energy (Jīng is the Chinese word for “essence”, specifically kidney essence), I’ve discovered the invisible energy Qi inside of human body, within nature and the interaction with it.
There is a distinction between the two energies. Jing energy is the deep foundational energy reserves of the body which determines one’s ultimate vitality and the quantity and quality of one’s lifespan.
Qi energy is life force or vital energy, that flows through the body, helping to maintain a person’s health. Everything in the world is made up of Qi.
Focusing on a philosophy distant from Western-European ones, I have discovered its essence of balance and energy through the understanding of the five elements theory (water, wood, fire, earth, metal) and its disciplines.
